Remembering the Death of a President
by Nicholas Stix
I just caught myself grumbling about all the people who failed to mention that forty-two years ago today, Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President John F. Kennedy. Then I realized that I was one of those people!
Oswald would go on to murder, as well, Dallas policeman, Officer J.D. Tippit later the same day, before he would be captured. Oswald would himself be killed two days later in front of millions of witnesses, on live TV, in addition to the crowd present, by Jack Ruby, as Dallas police officers were transferring Oswald.

Do you really believe that Oswald shot Kennedy? How can people be so ignorant? Why was Kennedy killed?
1. The surviving Cuban-exiles hated him and the CIA taught them methods of killing.
2. Lyndon Johnson was about to be indicted in the Bobby Baker scandal. Senator Smathers got close to Pres. Kennedy and Kennedy was going to drop Johnson. Johnson was eager to get the Kennedy brothers out of his way.
3. Kennedy did not want to go into Viet Nam. The "power elite," as they're called, wanted to run the country as far right as you can get and to spread their ideals to other nations. In other words, the New World Order.
There are many things I could say on the subject. Self-image never lies: Oswald was a "patsy," as he characterized himself to reporters.
